What is an Endoscopy ?
An Endoscopy procedure is used to examine all parts of the digestive system. During an endoscopic procedure, we examine the inside of your body using an instrument called an endoscope, which is a long, thin, flexible tube with a camera and light at one end.
Symptoms that may require endoscopy services are relevantly common complaints including:
- Indigestion / Long-term stomach ache
- Diarrhoea / Constipation
- Repeated bowel movement

Tests may include Biopsy, Therapy & Histology. A medical report will be produced and include results of any biopsies taken and recommended follow up care/treatments required.
Consultation
An outpatient consultation lasts between 15-30 minutes. We will discuss your symptoms and create a suitable care plan. You will be made clear of the costs to you before any treatment begins.

We will investigate the oesophagus (gullet), stomach and small intestine.

We can provide consultations by highly experienced Consultant Gastroenterologists for patients who require an endoscopy.
